The stock market was rebounding from a slow start in Wednesday trading.
The S&P 500 was up 0.8%, while the Nasdaq Composite was up 1.2%. The Dow was up 151 points, or 0.4%.
Mizuho’s Daniel O’Regan points out that among firms reporting earnings, there was a huge dispersion. O’Regan points to dozens of double-digit moves in both directions.
