A group of Magnificent Seven stocks buoyed the S&P 500 after Nvidia earnings, but the chip titan wasn’t among them.
With the S&P 500 up 0.2% after hovering between positive and negative territory, roughly 309 stocks in the index were down on the day. The Dow was up 50 points, or 0.1%, while the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.5%.
Nvidia shares were down 1% after moving up and down at the open. The firm’s earnings were good, but some investors may be taking profits following its massive run in recent years.
