• Former PM Aso Taro will publicly call for a new, early LDP presidential election on Wednesday
• Adding new impetus to the attempt to force current PM Ishiba’s hand

Kyodo had the info yesterday ICYMI, its getting a new round of mentions in Japanese media today. Ishiba has been under pressure since the recent upper house election where the party lost its majority.
