Apple said that sales in China increased in its latest quarter versus the prior year.
Revenue in the Greater China segment grew to $15.4 billion in the June quarter, when analysts were expecting sales of $14.9 billion. The result was up 5% versus the prior year.
Shares of Apple were up 1.7% in after-hours trading following the earnings report.
