NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Thursday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Orient Abrasive(14.22%), LE Travenues Techno(14.09%), Smartworks Coworking(12.28%), Superior Ind(11.72%), Bhartia Bachat(11.42%) and Hinduja Global(11.30%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 161.51 points down at 82472.97, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 46.3 points to 25165.75.
In the Nifty 50 index, 25 stocks traded in the green, while 25 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Sarthak Ind, Salem Erode Invest, LE Travenues Techno, Kalpa Commercial Ltd. and Kinetic Engg hit their fresh 52-week high, while SPS Intnl, Classic Filaments, Mercury Trade Links, Omega Inter.Tech and IO System Ltd touched their new 52-week low in trade.
