The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 247.01 points down at 82253.46, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 67.55 points down at 25082.3.
In the Nifty50 index, 22 stocks closed in the green, while 28 stocks ended in the red.
Meanwhile, stocks such as Looks Health Services, Amal Ltd, JP Power, Anand Rathi Wealth and G G Automotive Gears hit their fresh 52-week high, while Pooja Entertainment & Films, IEL Ltd., Mipco Seamless, Capital Trust and Pankaj Piyush touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
