NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 25.35 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 21.60 crore), Network18 Media(number of shares traded: 12.01 crore), Ola Electric Mobility Ltd.(number of shares traded: 9.15 crore), Hathway Cable(number of shares traded: 6.51 crore), GTL Infra(number of shares traded: 5.22 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 4.09 crore), RattanIndia Power (number of shares traded: 4.01 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 3.24 crore) and Sagility India Ltd.(number of shares traded: 1.91 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:24AM in Wednesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 57.8 points down at 25138.0, while BSE Sensex was down 185.74 points at 82385.17 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Nestle India Ltd.(up 2.43 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(up 0.98 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 0.76 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 0.69 per cent) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 0.54 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.87 per cent), Eternal Ltd.(down 1.84 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 1.26 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
