NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 28.52 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 19.19 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 11.33 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 6.58 crore), NMDC(numbers of share traded: 5.89 crore), LE Travenues Techno(numbers of share traded: 5.65 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 5.58 crore), PC Jeweller(numbers of share traded: 5.38 crore), Ola Electric Mobility Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 5.12 crore) and Alok Industries(numbers of share traded: 4.96 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 143.05 points down at 24968.4, while BSE Sensex ended down 501.51 points at 81757.73.
On the other hand, Axis Bank Ltd.(down 5.22 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 3.00 per cent), Bharat Electronics Ltd.(down 2.34 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.64 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 1.50 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
