Italy’s Mount Etna, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, erupted on Monday, sending plumes of ash ‘several kilometres high’ up in the sky. Dramatic videos on social media showed tourists fleeing as the Volcano spewed ash and smoke. A red alert has been issued but the village at the foot of the Volcano has not been evacuated as authorities say that the ash is not likely to rain on it due to wind changes. Watch for more details.
