Natco Pharma Ltd.(up 0.98 per cent), Mankind Pharma Ltd.(up 0.31 per cent) and Abbott India Ltd.(up 0.23 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Aurobindo Pharma Ltd.(down 1.75 per cent), Ipca Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.74 per cent), Granules India Ltd.(down 1.62 per cent), Zydus Lifesciences Ltd.(down 1.35 per cent) and Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 0.95 per cent at 22317.3 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 6.71 points at 25097.4, while the BSE Sensex was up 94.1 points at 82294.44.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 were trading in the green, while 35 were in the red. Shares of Eternal, Vodafone Idea, PC Jeweller, Swiggy and JP Power were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Lords Chloro, Eternal, Viji Finance, Sambhv Steel Tubes and Bhartiya Intnl hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Ortel Communications, LCC Infotech, Stampede Cap, Raymond Realty and IL&FS Engg Const hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
