Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.24 per cent), MphasiS Ltd.(down 1.07 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.94 per cent), Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd.(down 0.81 per cent) and Infosys Ltd.(down 0.49 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was down 0.48 per cent at 38979.3 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 10.3 points at 25471.3, while the BSE Sensex was up 21.33 points at 83454.22.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red. Shares of JP Power, PC Jeweller, Vodafone Idea, RattanIndia Power and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of J G Chemicals, Tourism Finance, Sirca Paints, California Soft and Reliance Naval & Engg hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Sadhana Nitro, SKIL Infrastructure, Globe Civil Projects, CMI Ltd and Varanium Cloud hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
