Miller Lite is marking its 50th anniversary by offering consumers a chance to participate in a coast-to-coast toast on International Beer Day — August 1st. As part of the festivities, the brand is distributing 50,000 complimentary beers to fans across the U.S. and encouraging consumers to raise a glass in unison at 4:50 PM local time.
In addition to the complementary beers, Miller Lite’s event will feature a unique ‘Beer Drop’ at the Miller Lite Brewery in Milwaukee, where a massive six-pack installation will descend in sync with each U.S. time zone. Fans can join the celebration in person at the brewery, at select bars, via livestream, or by claiming a free beer online. Country music star Luke Combs, a well-known Miller Lite enthusiast, is also lending his support to the campaign.
