KEEN officially enters the trail running category with the launch of ‘SEEK,’ its first-ever trail running shoe, marking a new chapter in the brand’s two-decade legacy of purpose-driven outdoor footwear. Designed for runners of all experience levels, SEEK reflects nearly two years of research and collaboration between KEEN’s innovation team and everyday trail runners.
The development process was highly immersive with “one lead developer personally logged over 900 miles in prototype testing, helping shape a shoe focused on performance, comfort, durability, and environmental responsibility.” Additionally, SEEK features QuantumFoam™ cushioning for “long-lasting comfort, a grippy, abrasion-resistant outsole, and a wider forefoot for natural toe splay and enhanced stability on uneven terrain.”
True to KEEN’s sustainability values, SEEK is built using durable, PFAS-free materials to minimize environmental impact. The result is a thoughtfully engineered trail running shoe that offers confident movement, whether tackling technical trails or setting new personal bests.
