The company has expanded its service network to 5,500 service touchpoints across 2,764 cities, with the latest centre inaugurated in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The new service facility was inaugurated by the Company’s Executive Officers, Service, Ram Suresh Akella and Yasuhiro Kawai.
Maruti Suzuki Ltd. now has a service fleet of 40,000 service bays around the country. This system has a capability to service 30 million customer vehicles in a year, the company said.
In FY 2024-25, the automobile giant serviced over 27 million vehicles, marking the highest number in a financial year. The company added 460 new service centres in the last financial year.
“One of the key factors most customers consider when purchasing a new car is the availability of a proximate and convenient service workshop, one that offers genuine and reliable service at a reasonable price, giving them total peace
of mind,” Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO said.
To meet this need, we have been able to establish 5,500 service touchpoints across 2,764 cities, with the help of our dealer partners,” he added.
The share price of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. closed at Rs 12377.55 on BSE after declining by 0.36%.
