Vicunha has launched its ‘Regen Denim Line’ to promote more sustainable denim production. Unveiled at Colombiatex 2025, the new line features “cotton sourced from Scheffer Farm, which is Regenagri®-certified and grown using regenerative farming methods.” These farming practices help restore soil health, conserve water, and support local ecosystems, making the cotton more environmentally friendly from the start.
In addition to using regenerative cotton, Vicunha has introduced its ‘Zero Fresh-Water Denim,’ created with 100% recycled and treated water. This innovation removes the need for fresh water during the dyeing and finishing process—helping reduce overall water consumption.
These efforts support Vicunha’s shift toward cleaner, more responsible manufacturing practices. They also align with rising environmental standards, such as the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), showing Vicunha’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for sustainable textiles in a changing global market.
